Polska #5 - Kraków

Kraków, Poland

Dzisiaj na blogu prezentuję pocztówkę z miasta, do którego się przeprowadziłam około tygodnia temu - a miastem tym jak widać jest Kraków.

Na pocztówce zobaczyć można najbardziej znane miejsca i symbole, które kojarzą się z Miastem Królów. W prawym górnym rogu widzimy Kościół Mariacki. Pod nim widzimy fotografię obrazującą Sukiennice. Dolny lewy róg to widok na Wawel, natomiast nad nim prezentuje się Smok Wawelski. Po środku możemy zobaczyć słynnego Lajkonika.

Today on my blog I want to present postcard from the city, where I moved about one weak ago, and how you can see it - it's Cracow.

On the card you can see the most popular places and symbols which are associated with City of Kings. In the top right corner we can see St. Mary's Church (Polish: Kościół Mariacki). Under it we can see the photo of The Cloth Hall (Polish: Sukiennice). Bottom left is the view of Wawel and above it is Wawel Dragon (Polish: Smok Wawelski). In the centre of the postcard we can see the famous Lajkonik.

Hoy en mi pagina web quiero mostrar la tarjeta postal de la ciudad, donde me mudé más o menos la semana pasada y que ves - la ciudad es Cracovia.

En la tarjeta postal puedes ver lugares y símbolos más conocidos que están asociados con la Ciudad del Reyes. En la esquina derecha vemos la basílica de Santa María de Cracovia (en Polaco: Kościół Mariacki). Bajo vemos la foto del Sukiennice. Abajo a la izquierda es la vista de Wawel y por encima es el Dragón de Wawel (en Polaco: Smok Wawelski). En el centro de tarjeta nos podemos ver Lajkonik famosa.

Houses of Parliament and Big Ben

Kartka przedstawia Pałac Westminsterski, który jest miejscem posiedzeń Parlamentu Zjednoczonego Królestwa (Izba Lordów i Izba Gmin). Pałac znajduje się na lewym brzegu Tamizy. Jedną z najsławniejszych części budynku jest wieża zegarowa Big Ben.Wieża ma 96,3 m wysokości, a średnica tarczy zegara wynosi 7m. Na wieżę prowadzą spiralne schody liczące 334 stopni. 31 maja 2009 roku Big Ben obchodził swoje 150-lecie.

The postcard shows Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament), which is the meeting place of the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (the House of Lords and the House of Commons).The Palace lies on the left side of River Thames. One of the most famous part of the buildings is the Clock Tower known as Big Ben. The tower is 96,3m high and the diameter of the dial is 7m. The spiral staircase has 334 steps. The 31st of May in 2009, the Big Ben celebrated its 150th anniversary.

La tarjeta postal muestra Palacio de Westminster, también conocido como el Parlamento, que es una lugar las dos cámaras del Parlamento del Reino Unido (la Cámara de los Lores y la Cámara de los Comunes). El palacio está en el lado izquierdo del río Támesis. Una de la parte más famosa de este edificio es la torre del reloj conocido como Big Ben. La torre es 96.3m alta y diámetro de la esfera es de 7m. La escalera de caracol tiene 334 escalones. El 31 de mayo de 2009, el Big Ben celebró su 150 aniversario.

 Tunezja - państwo arabskie leżące w północnej Afryce nad Morzem Śródziemnym. Nazwa pochodzi od stolicy kraju - Tunis. Swój początek ma w 814 r. p.n.e., kiedy Fenicjanie założyli Kartaginę. Tunezja jest państwem islamskim.

• Powierzchnia: 163 610 km²
• Liczba ludności: 10 531 767
• Język urzędowy: arabski, ale w powszechnym użyciu jest też francuski, angielski i włoski. 

Tunezja uważana jest za najbardziej liberalny kraj arabski, co zawdzięczane jest pierwszej żonie Habiba Burgiby, która była Francuzką. Kobiety mają bardzo rozbudowane prawa - zniesiono wielożeństwo, a kobiety nie mają obowiązku noszenia tradycyjnych chust, dopuszczone są do szkół, parlamentu, władzy i innych form życia publicznego. Również po rozwodzie mogą mieć przyznane prawa rodzicielskie.

Main information

Tunisia - country in north Africa and the Mediterranean Sea. Its name is from the capital - Tunis. The first information about this land come from Carthage, which was settled by Phoenicians, about in 814 BC. The majority of Tunisia's population are Muslims.

• Official languages: Arabic, but in common use is French, English and Italian too.

Tunisia is considered to be the most liberal Arab country, thanks of first wife of Habiba Burgibt. She was French. Women have very extended rights - abolished polygamy, women aren't required to wear traditional head-scarves, they can go to school, parliament and other form of public life. Also after divorce they can have parental rights.

Túnez se considera que es el país árabe más liberal, gracias de la primera esposa de Habiba Burgibt. Ella era francés. Las mujeres tienen derechos muy extendida - poligamia abolida, mujeres no están obligados a llevar de cabeza bufandas, pueden ir a la escuela, el parlamento y otras formas de la vida pública. También después del divorcio pueden tener derechos de paternidad.
