W wolnym czasie poza zbieraniem pocztówek uwielbiam czytać książki. Myślę, że od czasu do czasu będę tutaj zamieszczać też jakieś pozycje książkowe. Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam wspomnieć o książce, która jakby nie patrzeć jest dość mocno związana z przewodnią tematyką bloga. Może nie jest tu mowa o pocztówkach - ale o listach. Książka opowiada historię dwójkę ludzi, o której dowiadujemy się z listów, wysyłanych do siebie rok za rokiem, zawsze opatrzone jedną datą - 15 lipca ... r. i tak przez 20 lat. Bohaterami książki są Emma i Dex. Ich historia zaczyna się w 1988 r. kiedy oboje odbierają dyplomy uniwersyteckie i spędzają ze sobą noc. Na pierwszy rzut oka, każde z innej bajki. Ona - idealistka z kompleksami, na wszystko musi zapracować. On - bogaty przystojniak, który dostaje to czego chce. Dzięki listom poznajemy ich życie, widzimy zmiany jakie w nich zachodzą, wzloty i upadki. Czy ta dwójka mimo spotkań i rozstań będzie szczęśliwa? Czy szczęścia oznacza wspólne życie? Jak potoczą się ich losy?
Na podstawie powieści w 2011 roku w kinach mogliśmy zobaczyć film o tym samym tytule. Główne role zagrali Anne Hathaway i Jim Sturgess. Poniżej zwiastun filmu:

Today I want to mention about the book, which is related to the main theme of this website. Maybe it's not postcards but about the letters. I front of you is the book 'One Day' by David Nicholls.

The book tells the story about two people, we know the story from letters which are sent to each other year by year, always with the same date - 15th of July ... and it's around 20 years. Emma and Dexter are main character. Their story starts in 1988 when both of them are graduated and spent the night together. On first sight, each are from different world. She is a idealist girl with complexes, for everything has to earned. He is a rich and handsome boy who gets what he wants. From the letters we get to know their life, we can see changes that take place in them, the ups and downs. Will this two be happy despite the meetings and partings? Does happiness mean life together? How will turn out their fate?
Based on the novel we can see the movie in the same title. Main character played Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. Below is movie trailer:
